Mozilla Party JP 9.0

Mr. Channy Yun gave a speech for the history and status of Mozilla Korean Community in Mozilla Party JP 9.0, Japanese community Mozilla Gumi’s 9th anniversary this weekend, May 31st in Tokyo. The Mozilla gumi is one of the oldest community and very active. Over 100 people were joined this event despite of rainy weather.

My topic was a brief history of foundation process from personal efforts to building community, the status of recent Korean users, what Firefox users suffer in Korean unique closed web environment and our efforts to solve them.

After session, over 50 people joined dinner. Following video clip shows very active atmosphere of community. A leader of Mozilla gumi gave a Foxikeh doll to winer of rock-scissor-paper game.
